Man United 8 Arsenal 2

Arsenal were destroyed by Manchester United today and the demolition made the headlines as Arsenal had not let in 8 goals for about 115 years! It seems like only a couple of months ago they were second in the Premier League and in the later stages of both domestic cups and Champions League!

In the papers the team, manager and board were being battered and slated

The radio and tv sport phone in shows changed their schedules for the hours following the shock so that the presenters, reporters and fans could pick over the carnage

As the news filtered out Adam rang from the Reading Festival to check and see if it was true as he could not believe it

Hollie was sending me links to the Chelsea shop on Facebook with messages encouraging me to change my team to CFC.

Karen was nice and quiet and I thought she was being nice to me after I did not give her any stick when Arsenal beat Chelsea near the end of last season, but as it turned out she had gone onto my facebook page and said that I was changing to Chelsea after this result!

Karen's Facebook Effort as below:-

Well that's it decision made after the 8 - 2 embarrassing thrashing today and following going to the last two Chelsea home games I'm now going to support Chelsea. Come on the blues!

Friends were giving me alot of grief via text and it is not doing my cause of getting Ashton to be a red any good, even though he is not old enough to really understand which team is best so I tell him after every game that Arsenal won 10 : 0 anyway

But the last two weeks we have taken him to see Chelsea who have won both times, since the games he spends alot of time singing the 'blue is the colour' song so I am getting worried!!!

The thing is that Arsenal, their fans and me are part of a big family and it is not a choice to change, you support your actual family through thick and thin, through the good and the bad so
